I probably should have called this baked seafood because this is more of a technique rather than an exact recipe. I just happened to have some fresh flounder and shrimp so that is what I used this time. You could very easily swap these out with any of the items below:
- Tuna
- Salmon
- Crab
- Mahi Mahi
- Swordfish
- Lobster
Start by taking a large piece of heavy duty foil and place your piece of flounder in the middle. Sprinkle fish with salt & pepper. I added my shrimp directly on top of the flounder and added a little more salt & pepper. I topped mine with fresh lemon slices, garlic and a couple thin pats of butter.
Bring up the top and bottom of the foil and fold over a couple of times. Next bring up the right and left side to meet the top piece and fold over so that you have a completely enclosed packet. Place your packet on baking dish and bake at 400 for about 10 – 15 minutes. You will need to alter your time depending on the type and size of seafood you are baking.
To me, this is the perfect way to cook seafood. It is healthy, quick and super easy to clean up. I hope that you enjoy!
