Turkey Wrap

If you are like me, you are always looking for a quick, easy, no-fuss lunch that can be prepared ahead of time. I found these wraps at Harris Teeter and quickly fell in love.

They only have 90 calories per wrap, which is less than 2 pieces of bread. Plus each wrap has 9 grams of fiber.

The best thing is that you can fill these wraps with pretty much whatever meats, veggies and cheese that you have in your fridge.

I had some roasted turkey breast, romaine lettuce, red bell pepper and provolone cheese on hand. I made 2 of these last night…one for my middle son for lunch today and one for my gym obsessed husband for his late night snack. I checked with him this morning on his way to work…he said he really liked it, just requested more turkey in them for next time.

INGREDIENTS

1 Wrap

3 Slices of Roasted Turkey Breast ( More If You Have a  Meat Loving Husband Like I Do 😉 )

1 Slice Provolone Cheese

1 Piece of Romaine Lettuce

3 Slices of Red Bell Pepper

DIRECTIONS

Lay your wrap on a paper towel. Place your turkey about 1/3 of the way inside wrap. Next. layer your cheese, peppers and finally your lettuce. Roll tightly and then slice in half. You can wrap these in a paper towel and a Ziploc bag and keep overnight in the fridge.

Feel free to experiment with different meats, cheeses and veggies. I think next time I want to add avocado along with more turkey to make it a little more substantial. Hope that you enjoy!
